Louise Melchor specializes in the representation of financial institutions
and other clients in a wide range of commercial matters, including
litigation, regulatory counseling and issues associated with
business and finance transactions. Ms. Melchor was a summer associate
and law clerk for Deeb Petrakis Blum & Murphy and interned
with the Temple University Small Business Development Center
while attending law school.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Melchor worked as a project engineer for an
international consulting firm, where she represented clients
on regulatory compliance and permitting matters. Prior to that,
she worked as an engineer for a local government agency. Ms.
Melchor brings this depth of experience to her legal practice.
While in law school, Ms. Melchor earned the David Sive Award for best overall
brief at the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. The competition
was held in 2004 at Pace University School of Law.
