Deeb Petrakis Blum & Murphy P.C. | The Power of Balance Deeb Petrakis Blum & Murphy P.C. | The Power of Balance The Deeb Petrakis team consists of seasoned attorneys, many of whom came to Deeb Petrakis from larger firms in search of the fresh, responsive, and aggressive approach for which the firm is known.

Unlike some of its larger competitors, Deeb Petrakis does not inundate a case with layers of bureaucracy, but rather approaches each client and each individual case by providing the highest levels of talent needed.

History

The Firm was founded in 1989. Jonathan M. Petrakis, one of the founders of the firm, had years of big-firm experience leading him to believe that quality legal services could be provided to clients without the bureaucracy and costs associated with larger firms. Other attorneys who shared this vision soon joined the new firm. By applying personal service and emerging technology, along with the instincts of expert litigation attorneys, the Firm quickly gained a reputation as a law firm that offered clients aggressive representation, responsiveness, accountability and a level of personal attention not found in large firms. The Firm expanded its team steadily through the 1990s.

What was previously almost exclusively a litigation practice changed significantly in 1993 when the Firm represented a corporate client in a complex transaction involving the closure of its Texas offices and the resultant consolidation of its operations in New Jersey. Since that time, the Firm has represented banks, entrepreneurs and other business entities in a variety of commercial transactions.

Today, Deeb Petrakis Blum & Murphy is a full-service law firm that utilizes personal service, innovative technology, insightful research, and expert legal thinking to represent its clients in any and every arena. The attorneys of Deeb Petrakis share the same philosophy of its founders: every transaction, every contract, every dispute has a unique path to success, and it is the firm’s mission to help its clients find that path.
